"The project initiated as a cry for help with advanced AJAX and Javascript calls to extend the core functionality of the RAD platform. I needed a partner who could provide solutions and technical leadership to work with me and develop a product concept. I had stumped the top 5 development partners with a need to support row to row calculations in a web grid. Most other developers were backlogged in work, those who responded couldn't seem to get past the concept "that's a spreadsheet, not a webapp". I received a voicemail a week after my initial inquiries with Neova Solutions, "our team has a working demo, would you like to see it?" and away we ran... I had a 5 week window of opportunity to develop a prototype for an annual industry user conference, and Neova delivered without a hitch.

I characterize myself as a product strategist/architect. I am a seasoned Project Manager, with strong domain knowledge of ERP applications and SQL queries, yet I am not a coder. What I value most about my partnership with Neova is that it is truly a partnership. I bring visions to the table and precise data mappings, and they can stitch these into working application components.

In past engagements with other developers I have struggled with the formalities of strict statements of work, rigid scoping documents, and change order requests, all of which had to be routed through an engagement manager, who would in turn, dispatch these requests to their programmers. Such processes were riddled with communication frustrations, time lags, and commonly we built to the least common denominator satisfying the minimum specifications as scoped. Frequently I was left feeling that I was paying for unnecessary administrative overhead on the projects.

Neova can provide dedicated contract programming resources who can embrace ambiguity, individuals with a sense of ownership and pride in the application they are collaboratively developing, and developers who can project manage themselves.

The project outgrew its initial scope because Neova was able to so quickly deliver, technical features, beyond my expectations. After completion of the prototype, we realized that we could gain significant usability, performance, and MS Office interoperability by transitioning to a Windows Forms, .Net environment.  Neova delivered the re-written application in .Net within one week. With nightly feature request/punch list reviews, in eight weeks we have developed a robust application that I had expected to iteratively develop over a 2-3 releases to market. Neova's resources provide mentoring leadership to drive innovation, and it has been my common experience to find concepts we discussed at night, delivered in the next day code release.
